You can melt your stress away with a massage from our certified massage therapists.
Many members use our state of the art pool to stretch, unwind and relax after a good workout.

 

YOGA CLASSES
Experience an ancient system of relaxation and rejuvenation.  Through the use of gentle movement,
postures, breathing, relaxation and meditation one can improve physical and emotional health.  Yoga
postures strengthen, stretch and tone the entire body while proper breathing brings energy and vitality
which calms the mind.  Relaxation and meditation relieve stress and rejuvenate memory and thinking.

H2O Baby!
You and your baby will love this action-packed water workout.  This class will let you exercise in the
water with your baby at your side and will use fun activities to introduce the child to the water and a
variety of movements to help the parent improve overall fitness
.

Pool Classes:

Light and Lively
(Arthritis Class): Designed with slow, flowing rhythmic moves to get your blood
flowing and ease your joints.

Water Works; Full body strength workout in the water using Styrofoam barbells. Join in and improve
muscular strength, endurance and balance. This workout is easily tailored for your desired intensity.
Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Water Power: A challenging cardio workout with strengthening and toning using a variety of resistance equipment. Training in the water makes this workout safe and fun!     Medium intensity.

Taking Baby Steps - The first few weeks will be both the most difficult and most critical time for
your long term success. The first 30 days are your adjustment period; requiring shedding some of
your old habits and replacing them with newer, healthier ones. This is a challenging but rewarding
process and the first 30 days is the time for maximum determination, clear vision and a strong
support system
. Family members, friends and loved ones, along with your Wellness Center Team,
all become important allies in your quest to feel and look your best. Your future long term success
is dependent on creating a foundation built on solid rock.

I hadn't thought about joining the Wellness Center until I had a physical in January.  My cholesterol was 265 and  my doctor said we had to do something about it. I wanted to try diet and exercise before medication. Now, I come to the Wellness Center 5 days a week.  My trainer, Tiffany, suggested I do 2 days of cardio and 3 days of strength training.  Now when I wake up in the morning, I have more energy and strength and I'm ready to do something.  It's also been good for me mentally and socially because I see people I haven't seen in years, and I enjoy meeting people and making new friends.  I've just had my cholesterol checked and it's down to 202!
